The employee discount and employee discount days. And special sales they offer for employees only.

Cons

Poor advancement opportunites and promotions for minorities and women. They hire, promote, train according to the "Good Ole Boy's" system. And the vacation time is horrible as well as the insurance benefits. Minorities and women should be given the opportunity to advance with in the corporation.

Advice to Senior Management

Dillard's is a large corporation, it should be ran as one, instead of like a small mom and pop shop. African Americans shy away from applying at the stores or corporate office because of the way they are treated. There are no African American or Latino with in upper management.
