Pros

You really get to do a lot, and a lot of responsibility is given to you. The benefits a re generous, and you really get the feeling of accomplishment.

Cons

This is a very lean company, too many people have too much to do. Too many chiefs, and not enough indians, needs a lot more support staff to help carry the load.

I have been working at DineEquity full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Awesome place to work. Great people. Great benefits. Great atmosphere. The people here are extremely professional. There's extremely way too many things to eat here.

    Cons

Salary is a little low on the pay scale. Should be higher. Would like to see if it can be approve.

I have been working at DineEquity

    Pros

Lots of autonomy. My manager does not micro-manage (can only speak for my own experience). The "regular" employees are pretty cool and easy to work with. Executive team are very regular people, with one exception.

    Cons

The CEO is a megalomaniac. Pretends to care about people but really does not. Top-heavy executives. All managers and above make 6-figures and the rest make peanuts. The company is a bit "greedy." Need smarter and more savvy talent. Professional development not really encouraged or fostered unless you are a director and above.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Truly care about your people, not just your franchisees and not just other executives. Honor and walk the talk of integrity, character and honor.
