I have been working at Direct Partners

Pros

the cool thing about this place is that you can bring your dog to work.

Cons

corporate nepotism rules here. the rest of the employees are treated very poorly here with very little respect. the upper management is incompetent and refuses to be up front with the employees. there are no employee reviews, so people do not even realize that they are doing a bad job. change and new ideas are shunned, and this is not a well-respected agency in the advertising world. the clients are overcharged and lied to constantly. corporate nepotism rules here.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

treat your employees with more respect. hold employee reviews. be more transparent with the company's finances. don't play favorites, and don't talk down to younger employees just because of their age.

I have been working at Direct Partners full-time

    Pros

There are some good people at Direct Partners and a handful of super-smart ones. The agency is owned by Omnicom so there is financial stability. Work hours are flexible for most employees. You can bring your dog to work if that is important to you. Work space is pleasant. A lot of employees have been here a long time so they work well together.

    Cons

While some departments are first rate, some are staffed by untrained and unmotivated people. Flexible work schedule means you might not get your project done on time because key team members either come in at noon or work from home. Most account teams don't know much about their clients' business, they just know how to push jobs through the system.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set a higher expectation of quality and performance overall.
