I have been working at Discover full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good place to work while in school. Decent pay for comparable companies in the area. Good financial services experience.

    Cons

Call center environment. Hard to get a salary position without a degree. Pay raises are only 1% every 6 months (typically).

I worked at Discover as a contractor

    Pros

I had not got the chance to find their pros.

    Cons

I was not told to do what was in the job description after being hired. Instead, I was asked to do what the manager said was his 'personal' project. Then, the contract was terminated much earlier because, the manager said, the business partners did not want to invest in the project.
