I have been working at Discovery Communications full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, flexible work options, resume booster, headquarters building is beautiful, young demographic, casual/funky attire

    Cons

Highly competitive w/layoffs; expectations to work 55 hours weekly plus OT; young culture means it can take forever for decisions or change; super high turnover; minimal growth opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It cost a lot more to recruit new people than keep existing resources. Try to keep your employees happy...
