They hire for entry-level positions from outside of company, and there is opportunity to learn. They are many software and management classes open to everyone at every level.

Cons

Employees are promoted slowly mainly b/c of senior management not retiring when they should be. Disney-ABC lags behind its competitors in the new media space mainly b/c senior management doesn't push to do things with new technology.

Be open to new technology, give constructive feeback and make pay scale competitive with industry.
