Straight forward for QA Testers. When there's work, there's work. Don't expect to hang around during slow season.

QA Tester (Current Employee)
Glendale, CA

I have been working at Disney Interactive Studios as a contractor for more than a year

ProsPersonally had no problems with other workers, leads or managers. Environment is casual and relaxed. Lots of overtime if you want it.

ConsLots of overtime if you don't want it. Its not all mandatory, but you are encouraged to work as much as you want. Low pay but is some wiggle room for the experienced. Pay, however is fair considering industry standards. Depending on department/need, you might be on call for awhile.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep bringing in the projects to keep us working.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Fun, yet sometimes political and unstable environment with questionable executive direction

Producer (Current Employee)
North Hollywood, CA

I have been working at Disney Interactive Studios full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Disney has it's share of Pixie Dust and the culture and pride in the brand is contagious. Upward mobility is possible at the lower levels.… Cons: Corporate environment with lots of politics and under-qualified managers. Upward mobility is nearly impossible at the Sr. Manager level and above. Hours can be… Advice to Senior Management: Upper management needs to stick to making high-level decisions and then stick to those decisions.
