I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Amazing culture if you can buy into the Disney way of doing business. Supportive team-centered environment.

Cons

Many Cast Members make a lifelong career working for Disney and therefore positions open up very rarely. Slow progression in most departments.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Move people around the operation to free up space for enthusiastic staff to move into new roles.

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

You meet so many new people, unlimited admittance to parks, great employee benefits, good break policy, fun work, people that you work with are fun, beautiful living quarters

    Cons

pay wasnt that great, worked extremely long hours (shortest shift for my location was 6 hours), not really a employee discount, very very very strict on keeping inventory

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would say that you need to pay your interns more. We traveled a long way to work and we would enjoy some appreciation. With the income that Disney has I think it is something that would make everyone more happy and business better for you!
