Pros

Good summer job or job while finishing college. Hours can still be good even when the economy is bad. Union representation means chances of a layoff are slim.

Cons

Long and odd hours with no flexibility when it comes to schedules. There is a cult like atmosphere that can be a little hard to get used to. The benefits can lull you into thinking you make more than you really do. Stay out of jobs not protected by the union

Advice to Senior Management

Remember what is was like to not be a manager. Don't look down on your cast members. Treat them with respect
