I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts

Pros

There are alot of great people working their and it is always exciting. Also love the holiday pay and and vacation days.

Cons

You do work in the elements, all of them rain and shine, but still can be fun. They cut some paid holidays for new employees hired after Mar 2006.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees or have suggestion box. Be understanding on avaliablity and sick days sometimes you need more then 3 days.

I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts

    Pros

Emphasis on diversity, good cooworkers, access to parks and restaurants, overall goal of providing a great vacation experience for people from all over the world

    Cons

Promotions are random, communication between teams is negligible, a silo mentality pervades, despite being a first name company the company is far more vertical than horizontal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on letting people actually use their full potential, break down more of the walls between teams and curtail political promotions
