I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked at Walt Disney World for four years - the first year was through the WDW College Program, and the rest were Full-Time. In those years, I was able to work a variety of positions, from Merchandise and Attractions, to Guest Relations, Tours, and VIP Experiences. I enjoyed working closely with a variety of talented individuals, and assisting guests, always responding to challenges in creative and fun ways. It was great to be rewarded with perks like park admission, discounts and training opportunities.

    Cons

Advancement and pay are on the low end; I believe that many are motivated to work for Disney because of the name, so people are unfortnately easily replaceable.

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at the parks has many benefits including discounts and exclusive events. Most roles make working seem not like work at all but rather interacting with happy guests all day (mostly).

    Cons

Although fun to work at, you won;t get paid much. Working environment is somewhat like high school all over again. You are ALWAYS being watched by your co-workers and they will be itching to tell your manager if you do anything out of the ordinary. Point system for being late and deductions if you ever get reported.

    Advice to Management

    Interact more with cast members.
