I have been working at Disney Studios

Pros

Experience varies by group, but most corporate related positions will be a sweatshop. However, the pedigree that will be added to your resume can't be beat.

Cons

Long hours, substandard pay, office politics.

I worked at Disney Studios full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Exposure to senior management. Intense on the job training. Fun perks. I enjoyed my fellow analysts and felt like I was amongst the best and the brightest. Great for getting into a top MBA program.

    Cons

Long hours. Demanding management. Little control over your own life. Compensation probably better at top consulting firms for similar work.

I worked at Disney Studios full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

They provide a professional atmosphere. Can be a good place to work if you are in the right place. They do provide opportunities for general training. Senior management is very accessible if you want to make the effort.

    Cons

Business is not what it used to be. They are squeezing the middle and lower to accommodate the top. Can be very elitist and tricky to navigate the political structure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give middle management more opportunities to advance. Allow more cross utilization of jobs.
