Former Employee – worked at Dogster

Pros – There's a chance to see how a top 4000 website works. Dogster is very transparent and open about how the company works. You can see how marketing effort translates into more users visiting the sites. You can work to improve features that really entertain and make for happy users.

Cons – Dogster consists mostly of friends. If you are not a part of this tight-knit group of friends, your chances for advancement are in jeopardy. Dogster is also a small startup so you get to wear many hats, which is a downside if you want to specialize.

Advice to Senior Management – I wish that Senior Management would listen more to professionals within their own ranks.
