Pros

The company itself has a wonderful mission; most benefits are great. Products are cheap and most of the time, items are on sale and they are actually items that you use often.

Cons

There are no employee discounts, Store manager's opinion is solely what determines your growth in the company, not how hard you work. Employees are overworked and under paid. Lead Sales Associates and Management do not get any type of uninterrupted meal breaks.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen to your employees. If your employees aren't happy, then neither is your customers. Give your Lead sales associates and Management team an uninterrupted meal break.

    Pros

Great deal of latitude in doing your job, promotions are very fast, can be a fun job, not so busy that you won't get a chance to breathe.

    Cons

Low pay, next to no benefits, middle management expects too much and gives no support, there is an expectation that you will be available 168 hours/week, but you will only be scheduled about 20. In some cases, can cause physical problem with the walking you will do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tell your middle managers (district and regional) that they are supposed to help, and not just complain that things are not getting done. Increase compensation, benefits, and staffing. Make it so that people are not looking to get out every chance they get.
