Pros

Had a competitive bonus program. Always something new to do and your always meeting someone new as well everyday of the of the week.

Cons

Management was always changing their mind on how things should be done. Huge turn over and the bonus plan was really hard to get in terms of qualifications

My Experience was dissatisfying because things were based on "favorites"

    Pros

The hourly pay is decent and if you make your sales then you get a good paycheck because it's hourly + commission.

    Cons

Managers and supervisors would pick favorites to give the better work hour shifts and the best days off (Saturday and Sunday). They would leave maybe one or two people by themselves to handle everything, this was not good when it would get busy. Even though you have a college degree it doesn't matter because they'll put you in a position with a person that just has a high school diploma.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They should treat all Rental Agents equally, and not pick favorites, most of it is also based on seniority, who has been there the longest.

I worked at Dollar Thrifty Automotive

    Pros

every day i was meeting new people. this is an industry where you are dealing with people from all over the country so after a while you learn how different people operate

    Cons

with every customer service job you do have your occasional customers that are very hard to deal with. but the good thing is that it is only for a short period of time and after a while you learn ways of dealing with those types of people

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

there is a lot of room for advancement as long as you are doing the right thing even when your not being watched
