I have been working at Dollar Tree

Pros

Its a good place to work only if your there for a short period of time like seasonal. If your thier for long-term employment good luck thats all Im going to say.

Cons

The Downside of working at Dollar Tree is the stale, repetitive work, low-hours, and has been downsized extremely in the last few years.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management are selective in giving their employers hours,, choosing mostly family and friends regardless of thier work performance.

    I worked at Dollar Tree

    Pros

    Monthly bonuses
    Easy Ordering
    More than one Assistant
    Enough Payroll
    Great Human Resources
    Online Ordering

    Cons

Store Managers who don't realize the good associates they have
Store Managers that don't provide positive feedback to DM about associates, so they can advance
Stockroom space - freight unloading process would go easier

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's always store managers that screw things up when they only have his/her own interests at heart.
When they visit stores why don't they try talking to employees in the office one on one.
If they know VIP's are coming the store it will always look great, check the stockroom it should be empty, so what else do you want to know VIPs? If the store is one of the top three it's the manager
right, well she not by her self, will no one ever develop a program for associates, will they ever
have good benefits even for part- timers? Single parents are most of your associates, what is his/her incentives to stay at Dollar tree and continue to provide their services to you?
