I worked at Dollar Tree part-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

The best reason to work here is because the store is always clean. The manager is a great person to work for. Management is understanding of your needs.

Cons

The challenges of working here may be dealing with the customers when it comes to the return policy. If you don't make suggestive sales, you may have a problem with the management.

    I worked at Dollar Tree

    Pros

It's a good job to start out and get basic skills, cute merchandise, okay customers, friendly coworkers

    Cons

Cheap on pay and benefits, dead end, not professional, tiring, under value long time associates

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I understand for a company that sells everything at a dollar it's hard to pay a lot but try a little more

I worked at Dollar Tree part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Really there are none except a very small pay check for a lot of work.

    Cons

Low pay, unreachable goals, not enough employees to cover shifts, every day the store would get totally trashed and the closers are expected to clean it and be out 30 after the store closed (which was near impossible), favoritism, and always lots of drama.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have the corporate pencil pushers actually come work in a store to see how it really works. Also provide more training before pushing new employees out on their own. Allow more hours for the closing shifts.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
