Senior management has had to make tough business decisions to remain profitable, but throughout they have kept the welfare of their employees as their number one priority.
Opportunities for promotion are available to everyone. The company is so diverse you can move into an entirely new business segment, in a new location and in a new field without leaving the company.
Cons
The company traditionally does not pay as well as other organizations in the area and good talent sometimes slips away because of this.
Advice to Senior Management
Consider increasing pay rates or being more flexible with paid time off to better retain top-tier talent.

Your only opportunity for promotion is within the same division and only when they really need to fill a position because someone finally had enough and quit. And even then, you're only promoted because they're not willing to pay a decent salary to someone from the outside.
