I have been working at Domino's part-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

When it's busy, you get hours
Depending on who you are working with, your shift flies by
You can literally start at the bottom and work you way up. It's easy to become a manager in a matter of months even if you can't make a pizza correctly...trust me I've seen it happen several times

Cons

You are overworked and underpaid especially if you are a CSR
You constantly have to deal with rude customers who complain over the littlest mistake
When you get busy, everything gets chaotic and you have people who can't hold it together causing a chain reaction
Food and labor are always a constant worry so if labor is high, you will get sent home
The hours you are scheduled are not necessarily the hours you will work

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize that CSR's are the backbone of the store. We are at the bottom of the barrel. We make minimum wage and work hard but don't receive recognition or bonuses or anything. Just feet and back pain from working so hard in a store.

    I worked at Domino's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The job is fairly easy. It's a lot of small things that need to be done. The job is fun if you are the kind of person that gets along with your coworkers.

    Cons

-Customers act like mistakes are life-threatening
-Some customers lie to get food or forget they didn't mention something in their order (and you pretty much have to honor their request)
-Sometimes the store will be really busy and you won't have all the help you need

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your drivers and CSRs A LOT! It's very hard to keep an eye on everything they do to see if they make a mistake or not. Train them to focus on being perfect when taking and delivering orders.
