Pros

Great benefits and pay. Comfortable workplace. Great people. Great location. There's a nice gym on the 9th floor and your hours are very fluid.

Cons

Not much room for growth. Rather hire a contractor to train you. As administration you will end up with the grunt work and the temp workers will get the interesting work.

Advice to Management

Invest in your staff. They are very willing to learn.

    Pros

What a great company. Honestly I regret no longer being there some days. The benefits are top notch, pay is very good, hours are less than 40 a week, beautiful office, some great people. There are bonuses, 401k match, wonderful health and dental, everything you could want. I was not an attorney but heard they attorneys don't all have it as great as support staff does.

    Cons

It's a large company and slow to act on anything. Being support staff means they don't really have a career path long term for you. Some of the management is totally clueless but again slow to act so they stick around.

    Advice to Management

Overall pretty darn good job taking care of employees, some better mid management would help retain support staff. That way things like performance reviews, recognition, etc would happen instead of only once a year. Maybe do an employee satisfaction survey once in a while and see the results. The employees are overall very happy but one or two bad managers can make their life miserable.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

The firm is very respected and can be a good stepping stone to other careers after putting in a few years.

    Cons

Very low level of transparency; not open about the financial stability of the firm; more concerned about personal careers than developing talent

    Advice to Management

Be more open about the status and stability of the firm; be honest about job prospects in the current economy
