I have been working at Dot Foods

Pros

Plenty of work, they keep you busy most of the time. Pay is better than most. They treat you with respect. Easy to make friends with other employees. Pretty nice, newer trucks with autoshift transmissions. Awesome company parties!!

Cons

The company is ran and operated by people...and people have their faults. My biggest complaint would be that it seems that the sqeaky wheel gets the grease.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward employees for a job well done with more miles, better paying loads, holidays at home, etc instead of giving those things to the ones that complain all the time.

I have been working at Dot Foods full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great money to start and benefits are good as well. The work is hard but many opportunities to get monthly and quarterly bonuses.

    Cons

Hometime is minimal. Weekends are mandatory and your first year with the company you are expected to be on call just about anytime your home. Turnover rate, I would assume is very high but thats just from what ive seen, dont know if this is true.
