Pros

Excellent benefit package, positive/creative work environment, privately owned company built on biblical principles, career advancement, loyalty and hard work is rewarded.

Cons

54+ hrs a week January through April.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. Management has an excellent grasp on the industry. The company continues to grow and prosper even during a recession.

    54+ hours during tax seaon
    25 hours in the off season (for part timers)

    Cons

    They have a set schedule, but often switch your schedule up on short notice, like the day before

    Pros

    Training is good. Company seems organized.

    Cons

    Hours are 54/week 6 days/week for 4 months for part time customer service rep. Hard to advance. You have to make outbound calls to sell Drake software (why when there are sales reps?).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hours are not clearly not for everyone, so let the folks work that schedule who want to and let the others which are few, maintain a moderate schedule. They would have plenty of coverage during tax season. The mentality at Drake is you should be thankful to work there and that should be positive reinforcement enough. Why not reward those who do above and beyond though contests, etc...
