Pros

You will be allowed to rise or sink based on your own motivation. Sounds strange but I've always looked for careers that allow me to succeed without impediment. Upper management will get involved when needed.

Cons

Support staff can sometimes get too self-important causing delays in closings. Sales people should be self-reliant. I'll leave it at that.

Advice to Senior Management

Residential mortgage has been hit hard in the past two years. It's a very regulated industry and common sense is nowhere to be found. The Principals do a fine job navagating these rough waters.. Honestly, it's not my place to comment.
