Pros

The technical internship I worked for was a positive experience. My manager and co workers were open and made me feel open to communicate. Basically, easy to get along with. The enviornment was relaxed. A large company, so the daily grind is a factor, however, breaks and flexible hours made up for it.

Cons

Pay could have been higher. Not much technical involvment. However that is up to how aggressive one is willing to be.

Advice to Management

I really enjoyed my manager. Efficient with assignments and did not micro manage.

    Pros

Benefits, autonomy to business unti managers. Unit managers are allowed to make decisions on p&l and budget process, revenue forcasts and are given freedom to run their business as they see fit in their local respective locations. Corporate is willing to listen to new ideas

    Cons

Channel conflict and distributor sales network model is antiquated and requires a paradigm shift for the company to move into the next error of the Energy industry.Corporate structure does not allow for free flow of information, news, sales initiatives, new technologies, QA aspects to get easily to all locations and managers. Company should conduct quartery meetings and allow for managers to meet more frequesntly to compare notes and share ideas, success stories and the like

    Advice to Management

Eliminate the barriers for retrieving information, bring all managers into the loop on future developments and corporate vision, eliminate channel conflicts within sales, service and suppliers
