OK company

Anonymous Female (Current Employee)
Houston, TX

I have been working at Dril-Quip full-time for more than a year

ProsGood benefits
Most employees are friendly and generally good people.

ConsSalaries are below market average and no indication that the company is improving their attitude.
Annual raises are poor (less than 3%). Raises are same for most everyone, regardless of performance.
Hourly employees work some overtime at time and one-half. Salary employees are over-worked and under-paid.
Too much micro management. This seems to be in every department.
Software is outdated and the company isn't willing to change..
Different treatment for men and women. The good 'ol boy network thrives here.
Employee training is poor or non-existent.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet to know your employees and listen to what they have to say.
