    Pros

    Excellent salary and health benefits. 40-hr work week.

    Cons

    High turnover. Work environment feels like a company that's still stuck in the 1980s. Cubicles, rigid hours and very low morale.

    I worked at Dril-Quip full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Steady, could become a long running "job". Decent pay and some perks for management, depending on level. Very nice buildings and offices. They take great pride in their facilities management.

    Cons

    Too much to say here. Culture is the problem with this company. Abusive and borderline bullying from many tenured managers. "My way, or the high-way" attitude. Many managers take great pride in themselves for making you feel small and inferior. Best to keep your mouth shut around some. You will actually be cursed out by a few, don't bother with HR, they are told not to do anything about it. Non-diverse culture, no minorities or females above a lead status.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You have a great company with lots of opportunities to improve. Rebuild the culture from the old draconian style of management. Implement Lean and 5S awareness. You also lose millions in scrap and NCR. Perform a DMAICS now and then.
