    I worked at DuPont

    Pros

    Talented people
    Diverse and interesting job opportunities
    Encourage personal growth and development
    Respectful work environment
    Competitive compensation and benefits
    Strong brand and reputation

    Cons

Slow decision making - particularly with tough decisions
    Fuzzy accountabilities
Vision of what the company should be was vague and abstract for too long
Haven't created a new blockbuster business in a very long time

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The company is committed to a major shift away from legacy chemistry and polymer-based businesses toward a biology-based future. Management must decide how to continue in this direction while retaining top talent in their legacy businesses. Nobody at DuPont wants to work in a cash cow.
