Pros

Great balance between personal and professional life. The salaries were good compared to competitors. Good training program for employees. Nice and friendly environment. Good values

Cons

I have worked in Venezuela for the Performance Coatings division before it was sold to Axalta and from my experience I found hard to build up a career. The structure of the organization was very flat and change was hard to achieve. The future of the companies business is not clear yet

Great employee benefits, difficult to grow outside of US

    Pros

DuPont offers very competitive salaries and extremely good benefits to their employees. The year-end bonuses are decent as well. At least 5% of time must be spent on personal competency training which comes very handy and they also promote/facilitate everyone inside to have their Six Sigma certification.

    Cons

It is difficult to grow outside of the US and working in a production facility hinders that even further. Their recent cost-cutting (as in many other companies) has really taken a toll on employee morale, and it has been difficult to integrate the recent company acquisitions. There is always an air of uncertainty because of the divestments the company has had.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more communicative with employees so they don't fear for their jobs every quarter. Also, make sure that corporate benefits are shared with production facilities as well - motivation/recognition prizes, end of the year events, and so on.
