I worked at DuPont full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Great balance between personal and professional life. The salaries were good compared to competitors. Good training program for employees. Nice and friendly environment. Good values

Cons

I have worked in Venezuela for the Performance Coatings division before it was sold to Axalta and from my experience I found hard to build up a career. The structure of the organization was very flat and change was hard to achieve. The future of the companies business is not clear yet

    Pros

    Generous pay for easy tasks.
    Work life balance

    Cons

    Lack of understanding for what our competitors and the outside world is doing. Management are waiting for years to come with their generous pension so they are relutant to move. All changes come with same people, similar idea, just change the name and titles. All wastes of time. Also, people worked too long here so they cannot accept what the outside world knowledge, even from their rivals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Review what the individual are doing, especially middle management. Often they pass the tasks to the lower levels while always engaging in audios or meetings with no solid or concrete results. If really redudant resources, either help them to grow by allocating different tasks to them or simply chop them by compensation.
