I have been working at Dudnyk

Pros

The creative bar is high. Those who lie about or fake their experience or ability are weeded out pretty quickly.

Cons

If you are a journeyman mediocre creative , this is not a lifetime gig for you. No place to hide. Sorry.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

RIght now, as a company it's the best managed as it's ever been. And the success shows it.

I have been working at Dudnyk

    Pros

Upper management truly cares about the welfare of the employees
Opportunities to develop strong creative work
Account management is not afraid to push back on clients and stand behind a creative execution that is relevant and on-strategy
    Great editorial and traffic support
Excellent direction and support from scientific directors--clients are highly impressed with the level of scientific and clinical understanding that Dudnyk provides
Very understanding of family needs and responsibilities--they know that family comes first
Creative team is immersed in strategic direction and help take lead on many projects
Focused on giving back to the community with lots of pro-bono work for local organizations
Many clients are smaller bio-tech companies that really involve the Dudnyk team in all levels of product promotion and look to Dudnyk as a true strategic partner
Dudnyk remains dedicated to staying independent so no one else to answer to in the end except ourselves

    Cons

As with most agencies, there can be communication issues between account services and creative, but generally, people are very easy to work with
While working with large pharmaceutical companies has it's challenges, so does working for smaller clients who have very high expectations and potentially less experience
Needs more junior level creative support

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to keep the entire team involved in the growth of the company and to be aware of individual needs on a day-to-day basis.

I have been working at Dudnyk

    Pros

    - Extremely caring and considerate management team
    - Management adopts technology and encourages employees to utilize it
    - Group "POD" leadership is second to none
    - Excellent Creative and dedication to client work.
    - People that work here are very passionate about the work produced - from Account Services to Creative to Production to Professional Services
    - Management Team believes in allowing people to have the freedom and flexibility to develop at their own pace. You choose if you want to sink or swim
    - Company spends a lot of time training people in understanding the industry we work in, how the agency works, and developing talent via the Dudnyk University. All employees are encouraged to attend, but it is up to each individual to choose if they attend
    - Policies encourage employee safety. Every employee is setup to access servers and systems remotely. If they are sick or there is bad weather the employee is able to work. It encourages a sense of employee empowerment instead of waiting of management making the determination for the employee

    Cons

    - Company does not believe in "free" handouts. You really have to work hard to receive the benefits given.
    - Not a lot of hand holding. They encourage people to grow and develop at their own pace. If you want to advance quickly, then you need to show the initiative, and management will be extremely supportive. If you do not show the desire to move ahead, then they will focus on your current responsibilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Continue to encourage employee development.
    - Continue to promote the use of technology for all employees by providing the tools for them to be successful, and letting them choose what tools they want to use.
