Duke Health Technology Solutions – “Would NOT do it over...”

Pros

location - centrally located to the mountains / beaches
laid back environment (for the most part)
co-workers, many are great to work with

Cons

management is out of touch
managers are demeaning and uncaring
salaries are low
deadwood employees are never reprimanded... even get rewarded WTF!?!?
management takes the stance that employees are expendable
telecommuting is allowed only by CERTAIN managers... total lack of continuity
rewards are based on personal relationship NOT abilities or accomplishments

Advice to Senior Management

GET A CLUE
Fire the deadwood (we ALL know who they are)
Demote ineffective managers
Institute a peer / subordinate review process
