I have been working at Duke University full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

A little better than the lowest salaries in the nation, but well below median income.

    Cons

Lack of advancement, inequality in allowing benefits, micromanagement, bullying by supervisors with full support of management. Employee grievance system is supportive of management not employees as was intended. Full retirement not until 65 no matter how many years employed by company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show strength in dealing with bullies instead of giving them power and backing to do whatever they want to whomevers life they choose to make a living hell. Listen to grievances before something bad happens, as in someone snapping. Everyone has a threshold.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
