Sweat shop with high turn over

I worked at Dun & Bradstreet full-time (more than a year)

Pros

It was a 8-5 job
Health benefits from day 1

Cons

1. Promised a lot of money and never saw it.
2. Management shows favoritism with special buckets of work fed to either the females or African Americans. So they could hit goals
3. I had 26 people in my training class at the 1 year anniversary only 3 of us were still there. HIGH TURNOVER.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop the turn and burn! It's cheaper to keep an employee than to hire new ones every other month.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't blindly advance best salesman as managers if they don't have managerial skills. Some are better motivators and managers than salesman and vice-versa.

    Good training and nice people to work with

    Cons

    To put it kindly, they did not tell the truth about what the sales reps are actually making and that all the leads are "warm leads". I'm sorry, but if you call on a potential customer and they have no idea who you are and have never heard of your company I would not call that a warm lead. After 2 1/2 months only 5 of the 25 sales reps were still at the company.

    Tell the truth in the interview process
