I worked at Dunkin part-time for less than a year

Pros

Free coffee/donuts while you work! If you pick a less crowded location like I did, there is a lot of downtime where you can think about other things. Also, some Dunkins locations have tip jars which is always sweet!

Cons

Management requires you basically do all the work in the store, that includes washing equipment/dishes, scrubbing toilets, and all sorts of unsavory work. However, if you can bite your lip and do that without complaining, it ends soon enough.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your workers for the amount of work they do, not how little you can get away with because you will never retain any younger part-time workers that are honest and won't steal or do anything wrong.

I worked at Dunkin part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good place for a part time job, if you're in school or if you need some extra cash. a lot of convenient locations to work at, great if you don;t mind working at more than one store. Procedures are easy to learn. If you're lucky enough to have a great crew and manager, it can be fun.

    Cons

A team is only as good as it's manager. unfortunately, there are more managers that are just there to get a check, and not enough managers that actually care about the work they are doing or their employees. This leads to managers not respecting their crew's time or their effort and just treating them like bodies. There are also some crew members that don't take their job seriously and are irresponsible, leaving everyone else to pick up the slack. If you want to be promoted, it can happen, but it can take years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a little bit more selective about the people you hire. Appreciate your managers and weed out the bad ones.

I worked at Dunkin part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Tips are good but a portion is taken from your check.

    Cons

Managers sometimes forget about what is considered legal when it comes to treating the employees. (breaks, overtime, work assigned)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to treat the employees better.
