Dynamex – “Good until additional restructuring”

Pros

Dynamex was a great place to work when the local teams were responsible for managing the business and there was a personal touch from senior management.

Cons

Some recent changes have taken the company in a different direction. Many people who brought great ideas and strategies have been downsized. It appears there is a shift to centralizing key decisions with the parent company and that may have a negative impact on the local relationships.

Advice to Senior Management

James Welch was an excellent CEO who left several months ago. I do not think the issue is with the Dynamex management, as much as they are being directed by the senior holding company.
