E*TRADE Financial – “Not the worst place to work”

Pros

The compensation was good. Decent base salary with good bonus opportunties. You work normal hours, Monday through friday nine to five no saturdays. Fairly low stress.

Cons

The systems are horrible as is the back office. The requests you send on behalf of your customers will take for ever to get done. Micro management that you can't believe. Almost no chance of moving up in the company. Forget about raises. Constantly changing goals and focus points.

Advice to Senior Management

Have a more clearly defined job description for the role with more defined goals and focuses. Stop the micromanagement, improve the operations of the company, and update your systems.
