A lot of execs stills stuck with the manufacturing mentality. Vision of CEO is not translated into deliverables and goals correctly.
Management resistant about flexible hours, but this varies drastically across the departments

I worked at EMC full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

You can get lots of EMC storage training that usually cost a lot to customers for free.
It can be great if you work for the right manager.

    Cons

Too much nepotism and playing favorite and micromanagement. Not much opportunity to advance when your new manager bring in his favorite from another grooming to be the next manager. It make the rest of the team lose morale when your merit and ability and seniority got overtaken by favoritism.

    Neutral Outlook
