I worked at EMC full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Some good institutional knowledge still on-board from pre-EMC acquisition days, if only at upper levels of consulting and in product management. Fair compensation, decent benefit and ESPP plan, 401K, etc. Flexible work arrangements are part of culture

    Cons

People in this unit are sometimes overlooked, given that IIG is a very small component of EMC’s overall revenue. IIG/Documentum needs to remain profitable as revenue growth will be difficult. Too much turnover in Engineering / Support teams

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Time to begin mining knowledge stored in ECM and RM docbases in order to create new service offerings (Big Data)
