I worked at EMMES Corporation

Pros

Benefits package, studies are important for public health

Cons

Because of constant growth, not enough staff to do the work (this may not necessarily be a bad thing)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work.

Current Employee - Data Manager/Protocol Monitor in Rockville, MD

I have been working at EMMES Corporation full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The data manager/protocol monitor position offers the opportunity to learn some basic programming and provides lots of experience working with the clinical sites. From what I've seen EMMEs is very accepting of employees that need to telecommute (either a few days a week or even full time).

    Cons

Parts of the job are undeniably tedious, and I have a high tolerance for tedium. The management of my team is pretty excellent, but I've heard this varies across projects.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The path for advancement is unclear to me. I would like it if there were more transparency about what I can hope for in regards to salary and title over the next 1/3/5 years.
