I have been working at ESBI

    Pros

    Excellent life work balance
Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable staff
Good salary with good additional benefits
Very interesting and challenging international project
Excellent environment for professional and personal development

    Cons

You need to be patient, there are a lot of people in the company who have been in the company for many years, this can be a bit daunting for new comers.
Average age of management is relatively high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be aware of people who haven't been in the company for a long time, they too can be very valuable for the future of ESBI.

I worked at ESBI part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    |Interview was very professional and evidence based. They focus on 'Competencies' and when you say you have competency in an area e.g. Leadership, then you must be able to cite specific examples showing this competency. The examples should state a problem, describe how it was dealt with and then say what the end result was. Interviewers were all very fair and pleasant - interested in whether I would fit into the job, not interested ion showing me how superior they were etc..

    Cons

Need to have specific examples worked out in advance rather than try to think of them on the spot. Examples will be probed into minutely to see if they are genuine so hard to spoof.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some competencies are bull**it, and tracking them in an interview can be wasteful - could be easier to track a bunch of competencies together e.g. example of a project you managed would show all competencies.
