    I have been working at ESI International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Strong product - training is good. Location is good and metro accessible. This company may have changed since I left as there is much turnover.

    Cons

    Does not necessarily value creativity. They are more old school and tend to micromanage people. People have been there and are stagnant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Have more flexible work arrangements - you lose good people when you don't. Integrate with sister companies more.

    Other departments hinder rather than help, company flooded with internal politics, bad leadership

    I have been working at ESI International full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - If you have a good territory , pay is decent.
    - Internal classes are free
    - Some good Subject Matter Experts on staff

    Cons

    - All companies have politics, however ESI has more than most that streamline down from the top.
    - Most good sales territories are inherited and "farmed". Very rare that "street pounders" do well there. Reference bullet #1, get in with the politics and you'll receive good territory/accounts.
    - Other departments are there to help and aid in the sale of product. However, they function as more of a negative or roadblock in getting job accomplished.
    - Company is constantly changing direction. New hires going to "change the direction" of company, then they leave.
    - This bullet exists at every company, but there a lot of thinkers, not a lot of doers. A lot of talk, very little follow through or action.
    - Lower level management constantly changes
