I have been working at ESPN full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Travel to cool spots, co-workers, schedule flexibility.

Cons

Pay, unclear expectations of what it takes to be successful, propensity towards sexism, total lack of communication in upper management, red tape for miles when trying to get something done.

Advice to Management

live up to the 'pay for performance' directive as opposed to putting quotas on performance.
