I worked at ESPN full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Experience and resume-booster. Learned a lot about the television production industry. Picked up skills that can easily transfer to other industries.

    Cons

Overworked and Underpaid. No work-life balance. No company loyalty. No room for growth. Promotions not based on work ethic and contributions. Do not promote from within.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication. Build employee morale. Make your employees feel valuable and worthy. Promote hard and great work. Show loyalty by promoting from within.

I have been working at ESPN full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Flexible schedule and meeting athletes

    Cons

The bosses want their employees to be flexible with their schedules but the bosses aren't as flexible when it comes to working with employees to get their Life to have Balance outside of work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be flexible when it comes to working with employees that want to take company sponsored classes or activities outside of work.
