I worked at ESPN

Pros

Lot of employees really work hard for the company

Cons

There is an old boys network their that makes it difficult to advance

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I know the company is 32 years old and many of the management was there from year one of the company, but there are many younger management that is being ignored for advancement.

I have been working at ESPN

    Pros

around sports 24/7, our office is very nice (not all are though), HR seems to try to incorporate fun events into work month

    Cons

dont really pay for performance.... i could make significantly more elsewhere, lots of on-the-fly training.... not much formal, dont really feel like it's a place to "move up"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

re-evaluate what people deserve to earn based on the role, not that fact that it's at ESPN and people like the company
