No career growth

Senior Consultant II Advisory Services (Current Employee)
New York, NY

ProsBig 4 company, good benefits, okay salary but no overtime, opportunity to meet/work with a variety of good people

ConsStuck on the same clients with no opportunities to move within the firm or experience different industries. Highly political. 80% of management leading engagements are arrogant but less competent than even the staff. Overtime with no pay.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake action to increase company morale and overall happiness in the firm. The 3rd Friday call addresses issues, but never actually helps individual employees. If you want to keep good people, then address their concerns and provide them with better career opportunities. Treat people below you as equals, and give them freedom to introduce new ideas.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
