Current Employee - Audit Staff
Current Employee - Audit Staff

I have been working at EY full-time (more than a year)

Pros

The work environment at EY is definitely a pro, you get to learn a lot of the accounting and audit stuff very quickly, and the knowledge and skills you receive are truly outstanding. Another pro is definitely the people you work with, with most of the people in my office being super professional and knowledgeable, which contributed greatly to my growth.

Cons

The hours in busy season can be very tough, but it really depends on client needs and engagements you are staffed to. Overall, usually you don't mind the longer hours as the environment tends to be fun given that you are surrounded by younger people most of the time.

    Pros

The Firm values its employees. Everyone is given the opportunity to grow professionally and personally.

    Cons

When you are no longer challenged by the workload given to you, you'll tend to look for more challenging opportunities outside the firm.

    Pros

Challengeable and continuous training. Learning curve is really high and does not. Variety of service lines in which employees can cross-learn. Very competitive environment.

    Cons

Hard work from during the whole week. Have to sacrifice personal life. Salary is low in comparison to the amount of hours worked per month.
