I worked at EY full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Employees are always treated with respect and the open door policy actually exists whereby anyone can approach the top management directly without any bureaucratic hurdles.

    Cons

The packages are not as attractive as in the competing firms and promotions or rotations abroad are not always based on merit as immediate superiors have too much say in deciding both.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Performance appraisal should be based purely on merit and favoritism by middle level managers should be eliminated. Also, pay packages should be revised to be at par with other companies.
