Pros

Smart people and interesting clients. Generally pretty helpful in finding industries you are interested in working in.

Cons

Transparency. Senior leadership is less willing to say when they are balancing their work & life. They always want you to think they are working (24 hrs a day). This makes those at the lower level less willing to voice concerns about work/life balance

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more transparent with work/life balance issues (personally).

    Pros

the Big 4 experience, a good way to have your CPA license fees and testing fees paid for.

    Cons

Time... it is 40 +++ hours... minimum of 48 during non-busy season booked at 40 hours of work ... booking overtime is frowned upon... although silently.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with the partners and give straightforward answers to your Staff and Seniors. We are adults... we appreciate and can handle the truth.

Flexibility, benefits, and ability to advance.

    Cons

    Demanding hours; unpredictability of schedule

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Use "People First" as more than just a way to recruit young staff; actually practice "People First" on a day-to-day basis.
