Pros

-get a lot of exposure
-great learning environment
-people are great to work with and supportive
-

Cons

- constant turnover can lead to increased workload
- they're not too good about getting rid of people that are hurting the brand name

Advice to ManagementAdvice

- over compensate for forecasted for turnover so that current employees do not get burnt out and leave (which causes forecasted turnover to be inaccurate)

Former Employee - Advisory Senior Manager in San Jose, CA

I worked at EY full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Lots of resources and help, but only if you are "on the right track" and are liked and one of the "club". This "club" has nothing to do with rank, looks, gender or race, it is all about selling your soul. You sell it, you're in the club.

    Cons

See "Pros" above, but basically you need to expect to put in 15+ good years just to get the "opportunity" to discuss becoming a partner/principal. Seems nice, but the price is very high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cronyism, favoritism and cliques are not eradicated by rolling out a new partner path or a new bonus system. The culture is poisonous.
