Long hours can make the job difficult. Be patient and get to know your co-workers and this con won't be so difficult to get past.

    Pros

    If you spend time to use the resources available (e.g. get leadership experience thru the various employee resource networks, educate self on various world-class internal publications), you find yourself in an environment where the people around you do care about you.

    Cons

    Just like anywhere, you should own your own career path.

    I worked at EY full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Great start to your career
    - Great benefits
    - Good way to network with your peers
    - Lots of exposure to different types of industries
    - Great mentoring program, great training
    - Pretty good starting salary for someone just out of college

    Cons

    - Let's be honest... you're going to work a lot of hours
    - Can be quite stressful
    - Not all the travel is glamorous

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be a good mentor to your staff and seniors. Try to give as much guidance as possible so they aren't spinning their wheels.
