I worked at EY as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Great teams and lots of opportunities to take on work that you otherwise wouldn't be able to otherwise experience. The teams are open to you trying new things and taking on responsibilities greater than expected of you. Lots of mentorship from all levels.

    Cons

HR was horrible to deal with. one particular recruiter ruined my entire experience.

Solid company, good place to work, a bit political.

Former Employee - Financial Services Senior in New York, NY
Former Employee - Financial Services Senior in New York, NY

I worked at EY full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Group dinners, activities, networking make getting to know people throughout the firm easier and a good culture. Being a part of the Financial Services team, many projects are NYC area based so travel is minimal but occasional if you are interested.

    Cons

Ranks and tasks are very political and not always skill-based. Many there try to find the best skills to make the best product but there are some weaker links that can be frustrating. Compensation is not equivalent to experience outside of consulting.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
